The mission of Rob Short Coaching is to build and instill confidence, develop professionalism, and practice every day excellence through high-performance sport , whether through private coaching or as part of the group academy.

 

At Rob Short Coaching, we know that confidence is not something one can just ‘get’ or ‘lose’ instantaneously. It is something that is gained through hard work and time spent practicing with intensity. At Rob Short Coaching, athletes will train in a high-performance setting to facilitate continual improvement with one simple expectation: that every athlete trains at their absolute best. Training at a consistently high level, with maximum effort,will not only build confidence and skill on the field, but it will instill confidence, and develop professionalism and excellence, for everyday life.

 

Our coaching staff is a small group of hand-picked individuals who are leaders in the sport, and who love teaching and mentoring. Our coaches are dedicated to providing the best instruction and assessment, as well as serving as everyday role models and mentors.

 

In addition to world-class on-field coaching, we will provide access to a top physiotherapist who will provide physiological training and testing that is consistent with national teams, universities and colleges, to ensure that Rob Short Coaching athletes are best prepared, and safe, for every test they meet.

 

Rob Short Coaching is about providing athletes with a professional environment and superior guidance  to maximize their potential, both on and off the field.

 

Since RSCA inception in 2013 the academy has continuously helped athletes acquire scholarships in US NCAA colleges and in the USports Canadian University systems. The ultimate dream of seeing RSCA athletes play for Canada is also being realized with a number of RSCA athletes currently representing the country.
